Watermelon juice

This is one of the easiest and most refreshing drinks you will ever make. Can’t tell you how good it is to sip this coming back from the gym or a run or when you’re hungover. Fresh, cold and fruity, its the perfect start to the day, and so easy to make – here’s the ‘recipe’.


Ingredients (makes 2 pints of juice):

  • 1/2 watermelon

  • Squeeze of lime juice

  • 2 tbsp of honey

  • Large handful of ice (7-10 cubes)

Method:

  1. Chop the watermelon flesh away from the green rind, and chunk it up into inch-sized pieces.

  2. Add the watermelon and ice into a blender and blitz until smooth.

  3. Taste the mixture and season with the lime and honey. I have given suggestions, but use as much or as little as you like. Blitz again, then serve
